This old house

This old house is located in Gregory. Driving down Hwy 35 on the southbound lane you can't help but see it. Old homes like this make me wonder about their history. When was it built, who lived there, did they have have children? So many questions and no answers! This photo was taken with a Nikon D5000 18-55mm lens.

Walk along the marina.

What better way to spend a Sunday afternoon, than a walk along the Marina in Corpus Christi. The views are spectacular and the pelicans sit there just waiting to be photographed! This one was captured with a Nikon D5000 18-55mm VR Nikkor lens.

Old Post Office

This is the Post Office in Chapman Ranch. It is definitely not your average modern day facility. And yes, this photo was taken Feb. 15, 2010 and is a fully operational Post Office. By the way it appears that you can hitch your horse out front if you are so inclined! This photo was taken with a point and shoot Fuji 12.2 Mp FinePix J38 camera.

Old Tractor

Driving along Hwy 77 northbound just south of Kingsville sits this old tractor. I can't help but wonder about the family it must have once belonged to. I'm sure there was a family who was dependent on it for the food they put on their table, now it sits rusted and overtaken with weeds. To some it is just an eyesore, but to me it's a thing of beauty and makes me wonder about its history..........Photo was taken with a Fuji 12.2 J38 Finepix camera.
